Alternative Education Opportunities

Not ready or not interested in a Masters of Divinity Degree?

For students who are not interested in committing to a Master of Divinity Degree program at this time, we offer an exciting alternative education opportunity.

The first year of the Masters of Divinity program focuses on Spirituality, in the world and within oneself. Each year we accept a limited amount of students into the first year of courses who are not formally accepted into the Masters of Divinity program.

This accommodates students who are discerning about whether to commit to the Masters of Divinity degree program or are seeking the knowledge, but are not interested in the pursuing the more practical and professional skills of the second and third year curriculum.

The courses may be taken for credit or not. Most costs and requirements remain the same. The requirement of a Bachelor's degree is waived if you take the courses non-credit. If you take the classes for credit, at the end of the year you may apply for the Masters of Divinity program. If accepted, the first year courses would be counted toward the degree, and you would enter at the second year level.
